I am an Author offering books, journals, planners, and apparel inspired by my memoir, Corella, The Author of My Own Story. My products are created to encourage readers to believe in themselves, embrace their unique stories, and take ownership of their journey.
My message is simple but powerful: You are the author of your own story. Add your own chapters, and change your own ending. Through my books and products, I inspire people of all ages to recognize their worth, overcome challenges, and believe that they have the power to create a different chapter in their lives.
Just like my memoir, Corella, The Author of My own story, my children’s books, including Hey, Lil Momma, Believe in Yourself, No Matter Your Size, Bruh, I Got This! and Lil Momma & Man-Man Cousins, Learning When a Joke Goes Too Far, bring that same message of confidence, perseverance, self-belief, and resilience to young readers.
As a Black woman author, my work contributes to the Black literary community by creating stories and products that reflect Black families, experiences, encouragement, creativity, and representation. I want children and adults to see themselves reflected in books and to understand that their stories matter.

Lil Momma is a heartwarming story about confidence, family, perseverance, self-love, and the courage to keep going even when you don’t look like everyone else. It reminds children that their size, appearance, or differences do not determine their ability to dream, achieve, shine, and succeed.
Sometimes, children don’t need someone to tell them what they can’t do. Sometimes, all they need is one person standing in their corner saying:
Go ahead, Lil Momma! I believe in you! Now show them what you got!
Bruh, I Got This!
Man-Man is a young teenager who loves hanging out with his friends, playing video games, and most of all playing football. At a recent doctor's appointment, Man-Man receives some concerning news about his health and now he has to commit to a healthier journey and learn that his body is his most important team. Man-Man discovers how to become the MVP of taking care of himself.
This is the third book of the Believe in Yourself series. In this series Lil Momma and Man-Man are older and they are learning that words have power.
Lil Momma & Man-Man: Cousins Learning When a Joke Goes Too Far reminds young readers that our words have power, our choices matter, and family can help teach us how to navigate life's difficult moments. Most importantly, it encourages children to believe in themselves while also learning to lift others up, take responsibility, make things right, and grow from their mistakes.
